Tara Dawley, our studio manager, has made functional pottery at Red Star for 9 years. An accomplished potter, her work can be seen at several nationally known galleries. Although her own work is very organic and highly altered, she enjoys getting beginners off to a good start by emphasizing basic throwing skills as well as providing instruction to advanced students.

Anne Mulvihill's career in ceramics began at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. where her enthusiasm for studio pottery was sealed after working with Hill Hinckley - potter, teacher & motivator extraordinaire. In 1999 she relocated to Kansas City where she soon became an active studio member here at Red Star. Since then she has been showing her work around the country and is the owner of "The Barbershop Gallery".
