Circular Cup & Saucer Set - Paul Donnelly

This set was was wheel-thrown and carved using porcelain. There are stripes of satin white on the rim and handle, while the body and interior were painted with a translucent green glaze. The saucer was decorated with a geometric pattern. The set was fired in a cone 6 oxidation process and measures 11” x 7.5” x 4.5”.

Paul Donnelly is a studio potter residing in Kansas City, MO. He is currently a special instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute. He received his BFA from Edinboro University in 1997 and his MFA from the New York State College for Ceramics at Alfred University in 2008. From 2000 to 2005, he was an Artist in Residence at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA. His functional porcelain wares have been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
