Arthur Halvorsen was born in Braintree, MA and lives in South Boston, MA. He received his BFA from the Maine College of Art in Portland, ME and is a resident artist at Mudflat Studios. Halvorsen is drawn to vibrant colors and history of earthenware. His forms and decorations are inspired by candy and cake decorating. Halvorsen has been in several group exhibitions including EWARE at Red Star Studios in March 2010.
