Tea Set - Margaret Bohls

This tea set was entirely slab-built using porcelain. It was glazed with a semi-translucent, satin-finish glaze and was fired in a cone 10 oxidation process. It measures 17.5” x 8.5” x 7.5”.

Margaret Bohls is a studio potter and educator who lives and works in Minneapolis, MN. Bohls received her BFA from Rhodes Island School of Design and her MFA from Louisiana State University. She taught ceramics at the University of Minnesota from 1998-2010, during which time she was also visiting faculty at Ohio University, Penn State University, and NSCAD University in Halifax. Margaret has also taught many workshops at art centers and universities across the country. In her studio, Bohls makes hand-build porcelain pottery which she exhibits nationally.
