Susan Filley has a studio and gallery in Chapel Hill, NC. Her porcelain pieces nod at function, but are visually delicate and dynamic. Filley has an MFA in ceramics from Louisiana State University and has served as President of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. Before moving back to her home state of North Carolina, she started ClayWorks Studio, a cooperative studio and clay gallery in Charleston, SC.
