In 1991, Liz Lurie received her BFA from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY. She also apprenticed with Louise Harter at SuperMud Potter and Clare DesBecker Studios in New York. Lurie has had several exhibitions around the country and has led numerous lectures, workshops, and classes. She has been an Artist-In-Residence at Peters Valley Craft Center, Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, and ByrdCliffe Arts Colony. She’s also been the recipient of the Worcester Cultural Commission Exhibition Grant.
