Liz Quackenbush is a Professor of Art at Pennsylvania State College. She was born into a long lineage of makers and continues the tradition with her husband and son in their studio. Quackenbush received her BFA from Colorado University Boulder in 1980 and her MFA from The School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology in 1985. Quackenbush is decorative earthenware work is inspired by nature and excursions to Morocco, Crete, Italy, France, Greece, Ireland and Mexico.
